OVERVIEW

The Department of Applied Chemistry conducts education and research based on science and engineering focusing on chemical materials and the environment. Our department aims to contribute to a sustainable society where people can live safely and healthily. To achieve this purpose, we carry out the multidisciplinary research involving chemistry, physics and biology. Through this research, we also aim to understand nature and create applied technologies. In addition, we educate the students to become international scientists and engineers with a wealth of knowledge and experience related to materials science, the environment and life, who have abilities for identifying and solving a problem, using expression and also engineers' ethics.
